Exciting news – dates for next year’s programme, which is a “year group” – an integrated year-long programme in four sessions*. This level of commitment by the whole group allows the creation of profound trust, mutual support and a progressive unfolding into the precious dimensions and magic of the dance. An experience held and enhanced by the stunning Rhossili landscape and coastline.

We’ll again be no more than 25 dancers, we’ll be back on the gorgeous Gower Coast, and practical details will be very much as they are this year (if you’re not familiar, please see the Elemental Rhythms page).

* Year group: A single programme, in which sessions are not designed or intended (or available!) to also stand alone (unlike this year’s Elemental Rhythms workshops).

FAQ:

  • I can’t make all the dates – may I book on one or two workshops?
    Sorry – no. This is a Year Group, and a process in its entireity – continuity and commitment is part of the point.
  • [answers to further frequently asked questions, in advance of the completion of the “Journey to the Heart” page will be posted here]
  • For the avoidance of doubt, this means that you commit in advance to the full programme; no new participants will join part-way through; and cancelling during the process will incur a loss.
  • The exception of course would be in the team, should this be necessary to ensure continuity, in case of illness or other unavoidable absence.

BTW, speaking of this year’s Elemental Rhythms…
*UPDATE* Water has taken place, and Air is once again full, but we have a waiting list – please go to the Elemental Rhythms page and use the ‘Keep Me Posted’ form to join it.

And after all that you’ll want to dance – DJ sets include Rubba (reggae aficionado as well as Afidance teacher) and world beats from our very own Bernadette.

Summer Solstice is a magical moment – a seasonal ‘still point’, longest day, shortest night… and in many traditions a celebration, one way or another, of the solar fire that fuels practically everything on Earth.
For us, it’s a beautiful opportunity to dance right through twilight, from full daylight through into the dark; to play with balance, to dance the manifest and visible, and the hidden and dreamed.

This year, this Friday, Dawn will be holding our class, the energy, the celebration – her magical mix of playfulness and depth is perfect for the moment – don’t miss it 🙂
