Dear Dancers

“Movement is my medicine, my meditation, my metaphor and my method, a living language we can rely upon to tell us the truth about who we are, who we are with, and where we are going. There is no dogma in the dance.” — Gabrielle Roth

Friday 5Rhythms® in Bristol

Horfield Parish Church Hall, Bristol (weekly)
Oct 23, 8:30-10:30pm (+café)
with Bernadette 🙂

… and book now for next week …

Samhain 5Rhythms® Celebration

St Michael’s Parish Hall, Bristol
Saturday Oct 31, 8:00-11:00pm (+café)
with Bernadette, Jon & Dan 🙂

At the Celtic new year, we step into and celebrate some Samhain magic through an evening of dance – bringing awareness to this turning point, honouring what is ending and stepping consciously into the dark – for in darkness we find fertile ground. Here we feel for what is needed – the seeds we wish to plant and nurture now, so they will emerge in the year to come.

(Note: this is instead of the Horfield class on Fri 30th, as that venue is unavailable.)

… and speaking of ‘new year’ …

“Renewal” – Bernadette’s New Year residential

EarthSpirit, nr Glastonbury Jan 2-6

A journey of descent, discovery and reorientation.
Over five days, we move beneath the surface of who we think we are and what we think we want, listening into the deeper knowledge held within the body, heart, psyche, energy body and soul.

“Your self and your psyche will bless you for doing this, as will all the people in your life now and in your future.” –David, Bristol

… and before that …

“Gather” – Live Wire workshop
with Lorca Simons & Bernadette

Kingswood Nov 6-8

Live Wire is an embodied ritual theatre investigation, grounded in the movement maps of 5Rhythms, devoted to the shapeshifting nature of physical art. Designed to inspire, refresh, re-set and connect, will include movement, creative excavations, collective truth-telling and beauty-making.

… and finally …
Next Sunday classes are Weston with Jon Nov 1st, and Bristol with Dan Nov 15.

See you on the dance floors.

All Love,
Jon for Bernadette & team xxx
