Friday classes – changes post-July 19th
Dear Beautiful Dancers,
Friday Classes after July 19th *UPDATED*
Thank you all for your support through all the changes we’ve been through so far. To those who have had the joy of dancing together the last few weeks – your radiant smiles and feedback make it all worth while 🙂
Now we take another step towards some kind of ‘normal’ – informed by the latest guidance (*note 3), from this week:
- The number of places is now 33 (*note 1)
- You can transfer bookings to a different date up until noon on the day of the class (*note 2)
- ‘Drop-in’ is back – you can once again turn up and pay cash if you suddenly get free…
That said…
- Advance booking is strongly recommended:
- it’s cheaper – the drop-in cash price is a flat rate £15;
- it’s quicker – no fiddling with cash, and do ‘NHS track & trace’ in advance;
- it guarantees you entry – ‘drop-in’ still carries a small risk that we’re full.
Looking forward to dancing that bit more ‘freely’ with you very soon 😀
With Love
Jon, for Bernadette & team xxx
P.S. And re the unexpected outbreak of summer… we now have a couple of big fans to keep you cooler! 😉
NOTES:
- This is largely enabled by rising vaccination and testing rates. However, we need to continue to care for each other, so we request that you only attend if:
- you are fully vaccinated,
OR - you have had covid, confirmed by a positive PCR test in the last 180 days,
OR - you have self-tested negative within 48 hours before the class.(This is based on the requirements for obtaining an NHS Covid Pass).
ALSO if you or anyone in your household/immediate circle has symptoms which may be covid, obviously please don’t come.
We recognise that people have very different feelings about these changes – the ‘personal responsibility’ focus of ‘Step 4’ includes asking that we all respect wherever others are at, in relation to distancing etc.
- you are fully vaccinated,
- Refunds are still only possible until the night before; please see updated T&Cs on website for full details.
- Our updated class guidelines in full are on our websites, and are based on:
- UKActive draft recommendations for sports/fitness providers under England’s Covid Roadmap Step 4;
- Our updated Risk Assessments for dancing in each of the venues we use.
