Dancing at Horfield – Friday nights

Last Friday we danced together again ‘In Real Life’ at Horfield for the first time this year, and the looks around the circle of faces said it all. It was wonderful. Thank you for coming, thank you for your energy, your commitment, your confidence – in each other and in us.

At time of writing, this week’s class has one space (a cancellation) and the following one (June 4) is nearly full too. FYI, I will generally open booking for another class at some point on a Saturday – you can then book up to three weeks in advance. I appreciate it’s hard for some to plan that far ahead, but if your chosen class is full, do check again nearer the time in case of cancellations.

Dancing at home – Online Waves

For some, dancing at home is still the reality – thank you for lovely messages of gratitude for Bernadette’s Online Waves. We shall keep a couple of Waves available on the website, one replaced every two weeks.

Several groups gather on Zoom to dance them 😀 You may do this already, but in case not… we suggest you each play the music ‘locally’ from the website – someone calls: “1… 2… 3… GO”. You get better sound, and more reliable Zoom. You stay within licensing rules, esp if anyone is outside the UK. Feel free to call me if you’re not sure of the tech details – I’m happy to talk you through it.

Online Waves

New Website – Feedback welcome

Please explore this, our great new website. Everything should be clearer, quicker to find, and better on hand-held devices than the old one. Any feedback on layout, usability etc is very welcome at this point – if anything’s not working for you, it’s likely you’re not the only one.

P.S. We’ve made a few tweaks to the bookings website too – very minor, but anything else we could improve on there, now’s a good time to let me know.
