Tonight’s class is ON – roads in Stroud, Bristol and in between are pretty clear, and the weather is easing off, so come and dance – let’s warm our hearts and souls and bodies together –
See you on the dance floor x 🙂
Andrew Holmes teaching in Bristol this Friday, Mar 2nd
As the Grand Finale of our mini ‘festival’ of guest teachers, I’m really delighted to welcome Andrew Holmes back to our Friday classes. One of my personal favourite teachers, I’ve done many workshops with Andrew, including one already this year (awesome, as ever).
We love Andrew – it’s been 3 years since his last visit as he’s a busy man, well-known, much loved and respected – don’t miss this chance to dance with him
“Andrew has been teaching the 5 Rhythms for twenty years. He studied extensively with Gabrielle Roth, and runs workshops in many countries. For twenty years he also worked as a theatre director, and his workshop The Holy Actor, which combines the embodied aliveness of the dance with the transforming freedom of improvised theatre, has become one of the classic workshops of the 5 Rhythms programme. He lives in England with his partner Sharon and family.
“Andrew teaches with precise subtlety, imperceptibly guiding you deep, without fuss. His gentle compassion creates a safe space in which transformation can happen. He works with a light touch, and an embodied intelligence, bringing great delight to the spiritual practice he loves.”
And as if that wasn’t enough… it’s always great to dance on the Full Moon, and to feel the warmth and the love together when it’s c-o-l-d outside – see you on the dance floor
Jon, for Bernadette, Andrew & team xxx
While Bernadette is away, we have the privilege of wonderful guest teachers for 3 sessions – each with their unique teaching style, they share a gift for making the profound both accessible and (when appropriate) playful. They are:
– 16 Feb – Jean Rankin
– 25 Feb – Neil Pinnock
– 02 Mar – Andrew Holmes
Bernadette is back on Mar 9th.
